Oyuki Matsumoto is a creative producer and strategist with many years experience developing innovative projects and concepts in the interface between traditional and contemporary forms - often with unexpected or humorous twists.
Her expertise lies in bridging different worlds -both artistically, conceptually and between people, brands or/and cultures. Her primary focus in the beginning of her career was the development of STPLN - a creative hub and meeting space, which includes Sweden's first Maker Space, project she also managed.
Oyuki also ran her own company where she directed and produced projects for a range of venues and companies- from the traditional to the quirky. She is a sought-after consultant in the areas of communication, organisational development, concept and innovation for the creative industries and has an extended international network. her clients include Arduino (IT) Malmö Live (SWE) The cultural department of Malmö (SWE) Mr. Woo (MEX) Domestika (USA) Sesame Workshop (USA) and Studio ANRK (UK) to name a few.
She is currently living in Malmö, Sweden working for the Culture and Leisure department of the city of Lund as a grant administrator .
