Describe her work in one word: Glowing.

I met Oyuki for the first time in 2009 when the City of Lund was candidating to become European Capital of Culture 2014. Oyuki was my mentor and project leader for a project within Lund 2014 called Styr Upp.

The collaboration with Oyuki really opened my eyes to how big, unlimited, and creative the culture world is. She immediately made me a part of it by lifting and boosting my skills and challenging my thinking about what creativity is and how we integrate it into our lives. Her engagement permeated the entire Styr Upp project — she always listened, brainstormed ideas together, and gave feedback.

I specifically remember one time when I got stuck, out of ideas. Oyuki helped me structure my thinking, took me to a cultural festival in Malmö, and then she gave me this book called Whatever You Think, Think the Opposite. These things summarize the collaboration with Oyuki very well. She is perceptive, reconnects to me, and always gave me a continued push forward. And seven years later, I still have that book.

Her best skills are that she is engaging, creative, and incredibly knowledgeable.
